Published weekly by the RE/MAX North Texas Team, the Argyle Area Spotlight of the Week highlights an exemplary business, organization, or individual making a difference around the Argyle area and North Dallas in general.
This week we are excited to highlight a longtime business partner and friend of The North Texas Team: SPS Roofing! Established in 1991, SPS Roofing, a 3rd generation family-owned business, has been consistently serving clients around Argyle, Denton, and the entire North Dallas area for almost 30 years. SPS Roofing attributes their longtime success to three things: the quality of their product, the ethical conduct of their team, and their competitive pricing. Earlier we sat down with Kristi Galan, SPS Roofing team member, to learn more about what drives the company’s growth and what their plans are for the rest of 2018.
How has business been so far this first part of 2018?
Our commercial division has grown substantially over the years, but residential has always been our cornerstone. A little over two years ago, we moved our office out of Argyle into the metroplex and that’s connected us to a lot of new opportunities.
What are you all looking forward to most over the next several months of business?
We’re expanding on our commercial division as well as our residential. We’ve brought in new project managers in addition to a quality control team. We’ve really stepped up our quality control over these last twelve months. We are growing all over and continuing to perfect what we’re already doing.
What are your favorite parts about serving the Argyle, Denton, and Dallas areas?
It just feels like family. Everyone is taking care of each other. It’s great to service a community you live in.
As an organization, after so long what keeps you all motivated each day?
Our main premise is we gain to give. Everybody that works for us has the same mindset. We feel like that is what keeps us together.
Any words of wisdom to entrepreneurs and business owners out there in terms of keys to longevity?
Always do more than expected. When you tell someone you’re going to do something, it’s best to under promise and over deliver.
What makes Argyle, Denton, and North Texas so great?
We think it’s fabulous and we’d never want to go anywhere else. Our presence has grown around this area and it just feels like home.
